Leighanne Costello

Leighanne Costello is Hatch Bank’s Chief Operating Officer, with more than two decades of financial services leadership experience guiding her approach to implementing digital strategies and streamlining banking infrastructure. Leighanne is a champion of innovation whose use of data and passion for modernizing financial services have helped establish Hatch as a leader at the forefront of sponsor banking.

While at Hatch, Leighanne has led the modernization of the bank’s core infrastructure and has integrated numerous fintech partners and other key third-party providers into Hatch’s sponsor banking ecosystem. Additionally, Leighanne works to ensure that risk and compliance initiatives are aligned with regulatory standards and leads operational due diligence and integration for fintech partnerships.

Leighanne’s deep industry expertise is informed by her previous leadership roles. Before joining Hatch, she most recently served as Vice President of Customer Experience with Firstrust Bank and also held leadership positions with Cenlar FSB. She holds an MBA from Villanova University.

Beyond her work at Hatch, Leighanne is a passionate community advocate and mentor for women in business. She served as a mentor and board member for POWER, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization developing women leaders through education, mentorship and purposeful connections.
