Joe Starnes

Joe Starnes is Hatch Bank’s Head of Program Management, overseeing the successful rollout and adoption of new banking products and services. He works closely with Hatch’s fintech partners, managing implementation plans, timelines, and deliverables.

Joe’s deep expertise in designing and implementing business strategies to improve scale, quality, and cost makes him a valuable partner for Hatch clients. As a veteran banking industry leader with a proven track record in compliance and managing KPIs, Joe ensures client implementations meet established goals while upholding regulatory standards. His background in both banking and fintech leadership enables him to effectively manage complex projects and design implementation frameworks that meet the needs of both Hatch and its fintech partners.

Joe has more than a decade of industry leadership experience, most recently serving as Director of Operations for MOCINGBIRD, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup, before joining Hatch. He also held numerous leadership roles at Citizens Bank prior to working with MOCINGBIRD. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Rhode Island College.
